Max McHardy
Max has been directly involved in the field of franchising and commercial development since joining the Budget Rent a Car Corporation in the 1970s. At Budget he rose through the ranks to become UK Managing Director and ultimately International Vice-President with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this time he was Chairman of both the British Franchise Association (BFA) and British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA). He has been advising organisations on the development and management of commercial partnerships since 1989.
Max has a wealth of knowledge and first hand experience of commercial development and managing third party channels to market. He is particularly familiar with the nuances of operating in a variety of international markets with specific strengths in the retail, service, food, travel and motor industries. His success in motivating and so achieving the very best from third party networks is well known. He is regularly called upon to represent clients in the negotiation of third party agreements or to act as specialist member of their management team in supporting and improving the performance through existing commercial relationships.

Joanne Logan
Joanne has held a variety of senior management positions over a ten year period within Post Office headquarters in London, developing and implementing strategic change programmes in liaison with government departments.
She has direct experience of implementing and managing commercial business partnership relationships as Trade Account Manager and Head of Franchising for Post Office Counters, responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of their business to business licence programme with national retailers including J Sainsbury, Safeway, Thomas Cook and the Co-operative movement.
Since then she has been working on a consultancy basis in a range of sectors including banking (HBOS, Lloyds Banking Group), airline (British Airways, Easyjet), retail (John Lewis Group, Clarks) and services (King Sturge, Exel Logistics) to devise and then implement business initiatives to accommodate regulatory requirements or realise business improvement objectives.
She has also worked with both financial and legal professions, providing commercial reviews of franchise organisations and as expert advisor on mediation and litigation support cases.

Richard Perdik
Richard has had considerable commercial and general management experience in both the retail and financial sectors, including direct experience as a franchisee by way of the acquisition, implementation and operation of franchised post offices whilst Financial Controller at the Co-operative Group.
In addition to assisting with franchise conversion programmes, Richard has produced policies and procedures documentation
and user manuals in retail, manufacturing and public service sectors, where recent clients include Royal Armouries
Museum, SCS Upholstery plc and Business Link.
Richard works on local, national and international projects from his base in Newcastle upon Tyne.
